A new car is needed - what to choose?

Current contenders:

Mazda 2  - (not necessarily apple green)

Hyundai i30  - (maybe charcoal?)

Biggest decision is over size - i30 is bigger, Mazda 2 is maybe cuter, with safety packs etc, not much difference in price.
